Overview

Our team was tasked with the redesign of TowneBank's existing digital newsletter. Among other needs, TowneBank was primarily looking for a streamlined, clean and engaging user experience for banking customers that aligned with their recent website redesign.

TowneBank had previously published their newsletter in PDF format, causing a cumbersome experience for their customers and damaging ADA compliance score ratings for their website. Further, TowneBank produces print newsletters for various markets, but that content strategy wasn't applicable as a digital strategy. They needed a solution that not only resolved these issues but would significantly increase ADA compliance scores while adhering to stringent online banking security measures.

We began the processes by collaborating with the client's marketing team to outline business needs and project goals. Having a well-establish brief, we developed an art direction for the work that integrated with TowneBank's established brand. With art direction in place, we collaborate with the client to develop the content strategy, information architecture and interaction design necessary to merge multiple geographic newsletters into one digital experience. Then moving into the final phases of front-end development, user and ADA compliance testing. Finishing this leg of the project by collaborating with TowneBank's primary web development agency to run code checks for confirming adherence to strict banking sector web security standards. From this point we will be begin development of the redesign awareness campaign.
